Canon T2i or T2ii?
Turns out the new Canon EOS Rebel T2i is the Wii of digital SLR cameras. I once used to be a Nikon fan boy, but I can no longer stand by my man. Between the 5D Mark II, then the 7D, and now the T2i. Canon is determined to own every part of the digital SLR space from professional to hobbyist, and they are doing a great job.
At $899 for the body & EF 18-55 lens, the 18 megapixel T2i is a hell of deal & currently literally impossible to find. Best Buy, Frys, & Ritz retail locations are clean out. One Best Buy employee told me they go as fast as they appear (selling as many as 30 in a day) - B&H, bestbuy.com, frys.com, and even Canon.com show no one will be getting their hands on one any time soon.

The A/V club posted a pretty great run down of “emo” that pretty much captures my feelings on the genre exactly. A great history of the bands that were really creating great music from mid 80’s to late late 90’s and then shit that would follow.
